A guided tour typically lasts about 2 hours. However, the duration may vary between 1 hour and 30 minutes and 2 hours and 30 minutes depending on the location, the chosen itinerary, and the group’s pace. The exact duration is listed on each tour page and in the Ticket Office section. For a private tour, the itinerary can also be tailored to your preferences.

Being a tour guide is a true profession, one that legally requires obtaining a professional license issued by the prefecture upon presentation of supporting documents.
Our education provides us with both the knowledge and the technical guiding skills necessary to adapt to the locations and audiences we encounter.

Before taking the stage, an artist must learn their lines, work on their performance, and study the staging… For tour guides, too, this behind-the-scenes and indispensable work exists! We must conduct research, cross-reference sources, scout locations, and memorize a wealth of technical and cultural information before we can guide you to the best of our ability.

Yes, the tours are suitable for families with children. The narration, anecdotes, and pace can be adapted to their age group to bring history to life and make it engaging.

Please feel free to specify the children’s ages when booking. That way, I can tailor the experience to suit the whole family. Accessibility conditions—particularly for strollers—may vary depending on the monument.

In the event of heavy rain or extreme heat, we will prioritize rescheduling the tour to a later date to ensure your comfort and safety. If rescheduling is not possible, the tour may be canceled. However, any expenses already incurred that are non-refundable—including certain admission tickets booked in advance—cannot be refunded. Since weather conditions are beyond my control, I appreciate your understanding regarding the weather’s occasional quirks!

The general meeting point is listed on the page dedicated to each castle or city tour. Once your reservation has been confirmed, you will also receive an email with the exact address and all the necessary practical information.

To ensure the tour gets off to a smooth start, please plan to arrive about 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
